We look to inspire creativity at every opportunity! We occasionally sponsor contests through our Facebook Page and encourage all—from the very young to the very experienced—to participate! During the spring of 2020, as the pandemic separated people from their routines and confined them to their homes, we sponsored our first (and hopefully last!) Quarantine Art & Writing Competition. Artwork submissions related to the pandemic were encouraged, with value cash cards and certificates awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in four youth age groups. We also asked students to submit an essay on the topic, “How can we stop Coronavirus as well as future pandemics?” This competition was open to students ages 8-18.
