In 2017, Chinu Mridha visited her homeland Bangladesh on behalf of the Mridha Foundation and provided financial support to two different schools of two different districts. Those schools are: Shamshabad Govt. Primary School in Khulna district and Shekhmatia High school in Barishal district. Every year, Mridha Foundation provides financial support to these two schools for the development of the school premesis and to assist the students with their tuition fees. The students of the merit lists get extra benefits and support too. Beside these, Mrs. Chinu Mridha built a martyrs monument in one of the school’s premesis which is a significant gift from Mridha Foundation. “ All the popular schools and colleges have such martyrs monument which is a sign of a respect to the individuals who sacrifices their lives on 21st February in 1952 mother language movement. These two schools will get the chance of experience this respectful monument which will help them to enlight the respect for the martyrs.” - Mrs. Chinu Mridha said.
